Aldenham Country Park
General description
The Park and Farm are open 362 days of the year. and include the following attractions:
* Ample car parking
* Woodland walks,(most walks are wheelchair friendly,but may be muddy depending on the time of the year) meadows and reservoir
* Dogs are allowed (except within play areas) but must be kept under control at all times. Please take any waste away with you.
* Sailing (membership of Aldenham Sailing Club required. Tel:020 8207 3782)
* Fishing
* Rare breeds farm including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, shire horses, poultry and rabbits
* Childrens adventure and toddlers play areas
* "100 Aker Wood" is a recreation of all the features found in the stories of Winnie the Pooh but very much in keeping with a countryside site
* Refreshments available via a Kiosk selling hot and cold drinks, cakes, ice creams, etc. - every weekend and daily from Easter until the end of October 10.30am to closing time
