GPMR is a 7ΒΌ" gauge railway located only a few minutes walk from Chester's historic city centre. The railway, built in 1996 to commemorate the centenary of the Duke of Westminster's railway at nearby Eaton Hall, is popular with young and old alike and has become one of Chester's top tourist attractions.
