Wonderful zoo. Too much to see in one day, unless you get there pretty early and have a lot of stamina. Best to check the map and decide what you want to see most. If you get round everything you wanted, then go and see some others as well.

Don't forget to check out the bongos. These are beautiful animals, from which the drum gets its name, and are often ignored by people who don't know what they are (as we didn't until we came across them one time).

The aerial train is also a good way to get an overall view of the zoo, although this costs extra (can't remember how much, but I don't think it was too expensive).

We have been many times, and would happily go again. Taking a large family can get expensive, but for a one-off treat, it's wonderful.
