World of glass
General description
The World of Glass museum and visitor centre is set in the heart of the Victorian glass and coal town of St. Helens. Here you can step back in time by crossing over the glass bridge from the contemporary glass pavilion which houses the internationally renowned Pilkington Glass collection into the Victorian Cone building built in 1887 the year of Queen Victoria's Jubilee.
A fun filled day with live glass blowing demonstrations, special effects film show, international glass collections, mirror maze, interactive galleries and our Victorian furnace and tunnels are here for you to enjoy.
